I'm filling out a job application for my church -- I want to work in the Nursery...?

and I don't know what to put. There's two questions.

The first question is, "What do you feel are your unique gifts or skills for providing care for children? (Praise yourself! What are your strengths?)"

The second question is, "What do you think your role will be in the children's ministry?"

I know these questions probably aren't that difficult to answer, but I really want to make it sound good. If you have any serious answers that could help me, I would really appreciate it. I'll give best answer too, btw. =)

Thanks in advance!

Update:

-- Kai ~ ya - Thanks so much! I am going to wait until Sunday (that's when I have to turn this in) and see what others say, but I'm pretty sure you will get best answer. =) Thanks a lot!

"What do you feel are your unique gifts or skills for providing care for children? (Praise yourself! What are your strengths?)"

    - patient, love, caring heart, try to get the best for them etc.

"What do you think your role will be in the children's ministry?"

    - almost like a parent. (second parent). we are playing the important role cause the children spent quite a long time in the nursery/preschool so what we do will influence to the children's minds.

so overall, i think as a teacher/ guardian/nanny/daycare teacher etc is important in children's life!

I think only you can answer those questions effectively. If someone else answers them for you, you're not being honest WITH YOURSELF or YOUR CHURCH!! They are basically asking you why you want to work in the nursery, and what skills you have to share with the children.

gifts or skills - patience, loving, compassionate, caring. State your love for children and your eagerness to be a part of their lives.

role - a caring and compassionate leader for the children in my care. someone for them to look up to and to come to with questions.
