Can a flash be repaired on a digital camera?

The flash has gone on my camera. The message on the screen says 'flash charging', but it just won't take. Is this something that can be fixed or do I have to get a new camera?

Anything can be repaired - for a price. Depending on how much your camera cost, it might be cheaper to buy a new one.

If the camera is a couple of years old and cost 150 pounds or less, it is probably not worth repairing. You are likely to get a fixed price quote of around 60 quid to repair it.

you don't need to buy a new camera take it back to where you bought the camera, they will either repair it for you or even send to a place where it will get repaired if they don't it themselves that is if your camera has receipt of purchase, good luck

It can be fixed, but you might pay a lot. Might be cheaper to get a new camera. Get an estimate first.
