Snooker Question: When you scratch on a red ball. What are the number of points that you would lose? ?

    You would lose 4 points NOT seven as the first answerer has said you will lose seven if you foul on the black.

    In snooker you do not call it scratch its called an in off, scratch is only used in pool.
