Who else thinks william petersen is making a mistake walking away from csi las vegas ?

Bill Petersen's mom and dad live in the Chicago suburbs and they are both getting up in age. The reason Bill is leaving the show is to spend more time with them and work at the Steppenwolf Theater in Chicago.

I don't LIKE that he is leaving, but I don't believe that anything a person does to be with his/her family is a mistake. He needs to do what he needs to do for them.

He has made a lot of money on CSI and he deserves some time off. I am sure he will do more acting, maybe even pop in on CSI...but best of all, we Chicagoans get to see him do some theater work which is AWESOME!!!

I like him too. What is CSI Vegas without Grissom? Maybe we need to give the new team a chance. William Petersen acted in many movies. Maybe he wants to get back on the big screen. I think his career won't suffer.

Petersen is a producer as well as an actor, and he won't be hurting for money. He's been doing the same role for almost 10 years now, it's time for a break.

Yeah, but William Peterson has been a successful actor, and Producer of C.S.I. for over 8 years. Ever since the show went into syndication, he's getting paid for every time that show os shown anywhere in the world for...ever! He's got the BIG FU money, if you get my drift! ;-)

Yes. Everyone else seems to leaving, it won't be the same without him. But I think the new guy will make things good also.

I would never walk away from a hit show. As long as the show keeps me walking to the bank, I'd stay on.

I totally think so!!!! He rocked. I dont know if I will watch it when he leaves.
