Why does Chapstick have a hole in the middle?

    so that it can spin up and down. the hole is there for a swivleing stick thing to be in. yeah. if you understood my explanation....YAY YOU!!!!! :]

    because when you twist the wheel at the bottom it makes the screw in the middle twist the chapstick up and to u :0 hope i helped

    mine doesnt...

    but it probably from the container it's in. There's a little stick thingy that holds that chapstick on it so it doesnt fall out :D

    When the screw twists it up, there's a little pole that goes up and down, hence the hole.

    It doesn't at first, but then if you wind it down too muck the thing that it is stuck to makes a whole in it.

    coz theres a kinda plastic screw/stick through the middle so you can wind it up and down!
