Birth control and pregnancy tests?
If I'm taking birth control (Yaz) will it effect the results of an over the counter pregnancy test?

no because pregnancy tests measure the amount of the hormone called HCG, and birth control doesn't interfere with it at all

birth control, of any kind, and mess up your hormonal production and also pregnancy test. I'd advise going to a doctor for more accurate results. Also, despite the cute girls in the commercials or whatever song is playing, birth control is still birth control; it messes with your body with long term effects, and is more restricting than liberating.

No it shouldn't. I have ben on them for years and taken LOTS of tests and never had a false neg or positive. My doc also said no
