Portland will have to pay Miles 18 million, and the luxury tax...........Portland always manages to pull off big moves in the off season.......if I was a manager of any other teams, I would be very wary of Portland. Portland has a great GM, and he will get out of this jam. I agree with the letter the Blazers sent out, why not try to scare or threaten teams, it just shows that they care about there team and were speaking there mind.

Yes the Blazers are now over the salary cap and will be forced to pay extra amount for every dollar they went over with.

they need to pay the luxury tax, but it's at the end of the year...they're filing a grievance hoping that it will be taken away, but it's not going to happen
