As a tourist in Florence, how would I get to Maranello?

We will be staying in Florence and want to take a train or something to Maranello (in Modena) to tour the Ferrari factory...what is the fastest cheapest way to do this? Please be as specific as possible.

Thank you!

Modena is about 1 1/2 hours from Florence by train, and you can get there directly on IC train (standard adult price 15.50euro, Amica price 10euro).

To get to Maranello, take the ATCM bus (Urbane Maranello line). The cost of ticket is a 3-zone ticket (price 2.30euro).

Touring the Ferrari factory is not an option for typical tourist unless you're a Ferrari owner and you arrange for a tour with a Ferrari car dealer or directly with the factory. You can, however, visit the Ferrari Museum.
