peppermint and choclate mint with bugs?

I just got a peppermint and a Chocolate mint plant and i noticed there are little bugs on them what can i use to get them off without hurting the plant?

Update:

sorry they are little bugs that are green and white almost look lik a flea but i know that isn't what they are

    You don't say what the bugs look like.

    Try a about a quarter teaspoon of mild dish soap to a quart of water.

    Spray it on the plants and especially under the leaves. Repeat every 5 days or so.

    Do a yahoo image search for plant pests to see exactly what you have or post a photo online.

    Put the plant in a plastic bag with a "no pest strip" and seal it up for a day.
