Who is your favorite character in mythology?
I love to learn about ancient mythology. Some of the characters are truly inspiring and have meaningful names. Who is YOUR favorite mythological figure, and WHY?

Odysseus because although he is a great hero. He shows us that he is a man and has flaws which a lot of ancient myths tend not to do. I encourage you to read the "Odyssey" by Homer or even a condensed version such as the one by Edith Hamilton.

I think Atlas is kind of cool. Sure, he was forced to hold up the world as punishment, but he did it! That's really impressive.

Although he came to a bad end, he was initially a sharp-witted guy with a sense of humor.
