Open new tab in firefox?

I am wondering how you open up a new tab in firefox when there isnt any tabs yet. I know that you double click to open when there is, but that is not working.

All help welcomed.

    Ctrl+T is the shortcut.

The most basic way is to go to File, then down to New Tab.

Another way you open a tab in Mozilla Firefox is by using the shortcut suggested in the File menu, Ctrl+T.

The final way I know of is that you can move your mouse to some links and right click, where the option 'Open in New Tab' will show in the little menu that appears.

    Hope that helped! Good luck.

if you right click on a link, you can go down to open in new tab, or go to

    Tools

    Options

    Tabs

and tick the box that says all ways show tab bar, that way you will be able to open a blank tab all the time
