Usually when a picture shows up as text(as random letters and "codes"), that means you're trying to open it with a program that doesn't know how to open pictures.
1.)First, make sure the picture has a standard extension like .jpg .bmp .tif .png or .gif.
2.)To do the next step, first RIGHT CLICK on your picture and then LEFT CLICK on "Save Image As..." and name the file whatever you like, then save it somewhere you will remember.
3.)Then try opening the picture that you just saved with a program that opens and view pictures like Microsoft Paint(which comes free with Windows), Windows Picture and Fax Viewer(also free with Windows), Adobe Photoshop(a picture editor that costs money), Quicktime Picture Viewer(free from apple's website).
4.)Windows should automatically open it with "Windows Picture and Fax Viewer". If it doesn't, then RIGHT CLICK on the picture you saved, then LEFT CLICK on "Open With..."-> and select one of the programs I listed above in step 3.
That should help you out to view the picture. If you are frustrated with doing this process every single time, then your internet browser may not have the correct plugin to simply open the picture you want on the spot to view. I suggest you download the plugin from microsoft's website(if you have Microsoft Internet Explorer), or download Mozilla Firefox(which automatically comes with the plugin to view pictures)
