I believe Pittsburgh Pirates GM is without a doubt is the worst.

They have for years since the killer B's left Pittsburgh get good players in the organization, let them blossom and then trade them. The Pirates GM does not want to reward their players with better contracts. This why the Pirates will be a mediocre organization at best. I am not saying reward the players like the Yankees have but give them a contract to keep them in the organization.

  • Littlefield, GM of the Pirates, who was fired, was the worst GM is my opinion. He was unable to trade for good prospects over the years and unlike the Marlins, couldn't do anything with low payroll. They had bad drafts and remained a 100 loss team almost every year.

Has to be Brian Cashman. 8 consecutive seasons without a World Series Title with the Biggest Payroll in the history of sports every year.

Anyone can do that. Literally anyone on the Planet Earth can do that.

To the first answer. George Steinbrenner is not and never was the General Manager of the Yankee's. Brian Cashman is the current GM.

You are correct in that Stienbrenners money is used to buy players. But it is now Henry Stienbrenner and not George as he has retired and does not run the Yankee's any longer

Would have to be Omar on the MEts. he get the players, cash for the team and drops the ball in two consecutive september. He has to be the worst. CAnnot cut the mustard.

Neal Huntington-Pirates-Signed two guys from an Indian reality show. Oy

Dayton Moore-Royals-He leads the Royals. Nuff said.

David Dombrowski-Tigers-Good move trading for Cabrera and Willis.

Dave Littlefield, he been replaced in Pittsburgh by the Pirates, 13 loosing seasons.

Dayton Moore, if you look at what he's done the last three years, Meche, Guillen, Farnsworth and Coco. It's really funny since they've spent like 10+ million on these guys and they aren't good.
