I have a baby food question!?
I've just begun my son on solids (I'm making it all from scratch right now!) and I was wondering... He's had sweet potatoes and bananas right now. Lets say he doesn't have sweet potatoes (or whatever) for 6 months. Do I need to redo the whole "introduction" thing again? Or, since he has had no reaction" is it ok to just feed him like normal?

The whole "introduction" thing doesn't prevent allergies. It just makes it easier for you to find out which food is causing his allergies. And, since food allergies are pretty rare, it's mostly bunk. It is founded on a good principle, but, really, who is allergic to pears, sweet potatoes, carrots, green beans, asparagus, peaches, etc? Most food allergies are limited to a family history of food allergies and highly allergenic foods like peanuts, strawberries, eggs, wheat, dairy etc.
No, you don't need to do the whole "introduction" thing again.

my doctor told me when my daughter was started eating baby food... that lets say you give them bananas give them bananas for at least 3 days to let them get used to it well on day 2 give them something else with the bananas like strawberries seperate and together to get them used to new things but if they don't have something for a while and they have only had it a few times before you will probably need to reintroduce the food

no the introduction is to see if he's allergic so if nothing happened the first time nothing will happen 6 months later..

i would say, just feed him like normal if he did not have any reaction the first time

he time in between foods is to check for allergies. unless your baby develops allergies or sensitivites to other foods before then, i wouldn't worry. if you find you little one is prone to sensitivites or allergies, i wouldn't worry.
