Paintball Referee Help?

I am attempting to become a referee for paintball. I always play with my church but we never have a ref and need one badly.

What are some of the hand signals for referees? For elimination, clean paint check.

What is the ideal player to ref ratio?

    Its unfortunate to hear that where you play, there is a large demand for refs.

    If people call for a paint check, check and call them "player clean" or "player eliminated".

    I would say about 20 to 1 depending on the game and terrain.
