Any simple recipes for rice topping?
I have some cooked rice here, and I want to throw something on there so I can eat it, but I'm not sure what I should try. I am very limited on what I have and I have don't have much money, so it's really not much.
I have ground beef...some spices too. I have sour cream as well and butter of course. Any ideas as to what I could try?
If you can think of some easy stuff to help make it at least taste somewhat good, that'll be great.

Rice is really versatile you could try just cooking some rice and leave it to go cold then get out the fry pan or wok and add a teaspoon of oil and then fry some onions, pepper, herbs, make an egg omlette and cut it up into pieces and maybe a stockcube and then add the cold rice and there you have it fried rice - or look up this web site

brown the beef, add onions and half a stick of butter. toss in some salt once you're done cooking for flavor. add the sour cream on top and some chives for something unique.
(however, Vegeta is the best spice for just about any food. :D)

That's enough for 4 people, with meat & veggies. Cook 1 cup with 2 cups of water, or use chicken stock instead. You can add any frozen or fresh veggies that you like. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to minimum, & put a lid of the pot. Leave to simmer for at least 20 minutes without peeking. Cook up whatever meat or fish you have to add to the rice.
