    If they are metal, take them out of their brackets and dunk them in the bathtub with warm soapy water, rinse, and drip dry. You may want to use a soft duster to clean the slats.

    Ir you're in the UK those Betterware people (that pop a catalogue through your door) sell a contrivance for cleaning venetian blinds.

    as Annette says, dunk them into the bathtub in warm soapy water and use a new toilet brush to rub the dirt off, then spray with the hand held shower head on strong spray., blot them on towel and rehang

    I agree with annette, but i would then take them outside so you blast them with a nozzel on your garden hose to blast off the soften dust. thats what it did.

    Something I hate to do. If I find them cheap enough, I just buy new ones.
