Closing access to your Y!A Q&A...?

why do you do that? I've been noticing a number of high point (Yahoo Answers)people, particularly, that do this. What's all the secrecy about. Is it like a stealing your soul kind of thing?

You know, the way tribespeople don't want their pictures taken? I don't get it. Please explain.

And please, peanut gallery: let's see what the people who do this say, and not muddy the waters with a lot of wise cracks.

Some people do not want everyone seeing the questions and answers they have. They are embarrassed by what they have said on here.

Others want to keep their accounts. You have some people on here that thinks it is fun to go through your profile and report all of your questions and answers. They are trying to get the account closed for violations. Hope this helps!!!

Users with high point scores, and top contributor badges are prime targets to unwanted attention, from people on the site who wish to harass us, and get our accounts permanently suspended.

on my previous account i left my Q&A public, which after 2 months got me permanently suspended.

Most users with high point scores & Top Contributor badges are dedicated to helping people, and are really nice people. but we have to keep secuirty high on our accounts, or all our hard work on the site could be compromised.
