Can you name a classic film that I haven't seen?
I've seen many, many classic movies. I'm just curious to see if anyone can name a film that I haven't seen. Anything 1950 or earlier.
I've seen too many to name--hundreds and hundreds if not a thousand. I began watching them as a child.
Thanks for all the answers, so far!
H-Town Gal--Adore "Three on a Match" & "Of Human Bondage." I've seen 80 Bette Davis films, so far. Love "Wife vs. Secretary." Harlow, Loy and Gable!
Trillion--"Mr. Deeds Goes to Town" is a great film.
Zappa--I've seen Goldrush and several other Chaplin films. That Lorre picture mentioned is "M."
kmcryer--Seen "Bombshell." Harlow is a favorite of mine. I've seen 19 of her films and counting.
Deb--Seen "Sabrina."
Hana--"Rebecca" is one of my favorites. Seen "Cleopatra", "Some Like it Hot", "Sabrina", "The King and I", "Casablanca", "Singing in the Rain", "Doctor Zhivago" & "My Fair Lady." Seen parts of "War and Peace", "High Society" & "Roman Holiday."
Law Man--Great choice with "Broken Blossoms."
Zaius--"Rope" is classic Hitchcock!
MystMoonstruck--"Sunrise" is a favorite of mine. "Cimarron" is a great Irene Dunne film.
Danielle--Adore "Night Must Fall!" One of my favorites!
The Underworld--Seen "Easter Parade."
Major Tom--Interesting choice. I, too have heard and read of it.
Drnkn.Lncln.--As you know, it's after 1950, but I will check it out.
Lion of Judah--"Toto" is also after 1950, but thanks.
jj_700--As you stated, "Ugetsu" is after 1950, but thanks for the suggestion.
H-Town Gal--Great selections. And yes, I have yet to see "Texas", "The Amazing Quest of Ernest Bliss" & "13 Rue Madeleine" but I have heard of them all and plan on catching them. I'm thrilled to know that you adore Ms. Davis, as well!

Have you seen "Bombshell" with Jean Harlow? I just saw that for the first time at a special screening, and it was pretty good. Fairly amusing with lots of parallels between her character and the young starlets of today. If you haven't seen it, you should check it out if you can find it.

"Ugetsu" (1953)
A bit over 1950, but I think it's worth a try..
One of the all-time 100 best films chosen by Time.
