My washer squeaks like crazy, it is a Maytag, Quiet Series 100 (yeah, i know, funny right?), Model# MAV408DAWW?
And i know that it isn't a too large of a load problem because i could put one towel in there and it still squeaks, any suggestions?

A washing machine repair man told me once that this is a problem with some machines and that it was harmless. It didn't shorten the life of that machine, anyway. He called it a "groaning problem".

I always wanted to help mom. Got my arm, not just me fingers, caught in the wringer more times than I can count. Never stopped me from doing it again. wish I had that old wringer again! Thanks for a lovely write full of memories!
