Why do people follow celebrities around like crazy?

God only knows, I suppose all these magazines wouldn't talk about what "celebs" were upto if people weren't buying the magazines in the first place, it's unfortunately the nosey culture we live in, everyone wants to know what everyone else is doing.

For some of us, this stuff amuses your brian and gives you pleasure, for the trouble of others or the success.

Also, they do it because they get paid for it. Some people are crazy for celebrities, so they will do anything to get

the inside scoop of celebs.

Also, I think its so lame seriously! Just because they act or sing or whatever doesnt make them better then us. Some of them might be richer, but we are still people so screw them.

and to be honest, people need to realize those people are just like US their just like humans who made a living and just become popular and etc but people choose to make a big deal about it which is pointless and a waste of their lives in my opinon.

i don't sense sorry for those that ask for it, like Paris Hilton. no you've widely used who she grow to be if she wasn't up interior the social gathering scene each of the time. Now, the valid actors, singers etc that get stalked by paparazzi at the same time as they are purely attempting to stay their lives, I do sense sorry for.

i think the magazine people and the photographers are just board and they wanna be like the celebrities

photographers trying to make a living by taking photos of celebs for stupid magazines...

well, i happen to like to know about all of this 'gossip. it lets me catch up on things i've missed, and if i haven't heard of it yet, and all of my friends have, then i feel un-informed and i just like to read these magazines so i know everything possible.

i wish i could explain it. I guess people like that look up to the celebs and try to live there lives by asking "what would ______do?" and in order to ask that question, they have to know the answer and in order to know the answer they have to follow every little action the celebrity does. weird...

Because their own lives are so boring and empty they need to know about others peoples lives
