Acquiring Network Address?
my connection says its trying to acquire network address, my internet works fine. does anyone know what this means?

Hello,
This could mean one of a few things:
1. You could have a few connections, i.e. wired, wireless etc. You could be connected to one wireless for example and also be plugged into a wired connection which is trying to establish a connection.
2. A common problem I have seen is with cable modem users is that they accidentally plug in both the usb and ethernet connections from the cable modem to their PC. If this is hooked up in the way you could be seeing a similar issue as the one described.
