I am looking to reinstall windows but do not know if i have the proper disc to do so. I have a disc that says "Drivers and Users documentation" at the top and on the side it says, "Contents: HTML user documentation. Drivers (INF, ICM, and CAT files)". Is this the proper disc needed to reinstall windows?

all of my programs want to update through IE but the browser is broken. I've tried reinstalling but no luck. It worked before i switched to Mozilla firefox. anyone know how to fix this problem with the browser and what it could be?

if you delete a program that has caught malware and put it in quarantine would the malware be released back on comp if you uninstall the program.

my connection says its trying to acquire network address, my internet works fine. does anyone know what this means?

I recently switched from the internet explorer browser to firefox. since then my programs are having a problem updating. I can update AVG 8.0 and Ad-Aware with no problem but others such as Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, Spysweeper, Spybot, COMODO firewall cant update. i didnt uninstall IE before using firefox. and now when i tried it says programs are using IE which is damaged and can no longer connect to internet. i have firefox set as default browser but i guess the prgrams still want to use the broken IE instead.

any help would be much appreciated.
