troubles with Internet Explorer browser?
all of my programs want to update through IE but the browser is broken. I've tried reinstalling but no luck. It worked before i switched to Mozilla firefox. anyone know how to fix this problem with the browser and what it could be?
when i try to get on to IE it always pops up and it says "HTTP 404" what is that and how do i fix it.
none of the suggestions given worked but thanks for the help.

Open your IE and try this..
Go to Tools > Manage Add-ons and disable, one by one, each of the "Add-ons currently loaded in Internet Explorer" until the problem dissapears.

Broken, broken? Or does it just try to update through Firefox instead?
If that's the case, click the IE button on your computer, go to tools>internet options> advanced > restore defaults. It's just the result of firefox becoming your default browser.
If IE is broken and will not open, I would suggest rolling windows back to before you installed firefox.

Use Firefox
