Recipe for baked chicken with hot curry powder?

I have hot curry powder that I want to bake some chicken breasts with. What else should I use?

Update:

Just spices please! I want something simple - just to defrost the chicken and then season with the curry. I just don't know what other seasonings should go with it. Thank you for all the answers so far, though!

Sounds like your going for somewhat of a tandoori chicken vibe.

You may want to try marinading the breasts in a cup of plain yogurt,

2 TBSP of lemon juice, and as much curry powder as you want to

get the heat level you're looking for. Marinate for around 4-5 hours

(in the fridge). Roast in a 425F oven for 30-40 minutes in a covered

roaster (preferably with the chicken on a roasting rack). It won't be

exactly true-to-style, but it should turn out fine. Serve with lentils,

rice, or some other starch, and you'll be fine.

    Try this recipe:

You can use your curry instead of all the spice in the recipe, and you can bake it at 375 degrees F for about 45 minutes, covered. As chicken breasts can dry out easily, I would do this on the stovetop or in a crock pot, though.

Although these are pan fried you do not need much oil (especially if you use a non-stick pan).

    SPICY SHAKE N’ BAKE

The recipe doesn’t involve baking, but “fry” doesn’t rhyme with “shake.”

    2 chicken breasts

    1c. breadcrumbs

    1 tbsp dry mustard

    1 tsp curry powder

    1 tsp. cayenne pepper

½ tsp. salt and pepper to taste

Combine ingredients in a Ziploc. Shake to coat chicken and fry chicken in a pan with a little oil.
