Tips on removing JG G3 G1 Flash hider for Sound amplifying attachment?

I have had an excellent JG T3-k1 (G3-SG1) Airsoft rifle for many years. Now, I want to upgrade it--metal body, RAS, internal stuff (I have already chopped off the stock and put on a collapsible one)--and, among other things, a Madbull Noveske style sound-amplifier.

I know that the JG G3 has 14 mm CCW threads, but I cannot get the flash hider off to attach the sound amplifier.

How do I remove the flash hider?

Does the outer barrel unscrew, or is it, indeed, the flash hider?

I have tried to remove the flash hider, but have not been able to make it budge.

Thanks

Update:

The flash hider is made of metal, as is the outer barrel, so added to the fact that the JG G3 has threads, I believe that it can be removed, though if multiple people contradict this...

Update 2:

Well, Dan, I think that since the GUN MANUAL shows threads, ONLINE INFO says threads, and it's a METAL BARREL AND FLASH HIDER leads me to believe that you are, indeed, misinformed.

Go back to MilSim, and don't call me kid. Maybe take a course in human relations, though? Or do some research...

Update 3:

So you admit that there ARE threads...

Dan doesn't know what he's talking about, for the most part.

The flash suppressor is glued on, but will unscrew with enough force (pliers and, if needed, vice), or is weakened (solvent, or dip it in boiling water for several minutes).

The flash hide should unscrew unless you have a 14" barrel. I can't tell from the picture. If the actual barrel is less than 16 inches, the flash hider is permanently attached so that you don't have a SBR which requires a $200 tax. If it is removable, you need about $80 worth of tools to not scratch your gun up. The easiest way is to remove the rear take down pin. Pivot the upper forward. Remove the bolt carrier group. Prop the front of the rifle on something about 1ft tall. move the butt stock around until you can see something unique down the center of the barrel 20 to 100 yds away. Without moving the rifle, adjust the sight so that it lines up with what you see in the center of the barrel. It is then bore sighted. Have you ever seen what happens when someone leaves a bore sighting device stuck in the end of the barrel and shoot their rifle? Instant scrap iron. If you don't like this idea, get a bore sighter that is a cartridge instead of one that you stick in the end of the barrel.

The new chinese clones (aka ACM) come with the flash hiders glued onto the gun. You basically have no options as to attaching it to the gun unless you were to take out the entire outer barrel and replace it with another that has a threaded barrel.

Edit: I don't know what I'm talking about huh? Go ahead kid, put pressure on the flasher and you'll strip the threads.
