As Angelika said, the best place to look at is the DSM-IV-TR categories - there are hundreds of potential diagnoses. Although, this is a contoversial issue as some psychologists argue that these are socially constructed rather than biologically isolated differentiations - many are treated with the same drugs and the boundaries between them are not clear cut (e.g. Thomas Szasz).

    Here are five quick descriptions:

Depression. Symptoms may include: persistent sadness, poor concentration, changes in appetite and sleep patterns, psychomotor retardation, recurring thoughts of suicide.

Schizophrenia. Symptoms may include: disorganized thoughts, delusions, hallucinations, flat affect, withdrawal.

Bipolar disorder. Shifts between depression (as above) and mania, symptoms of which are: excitability, positive moods, grandiose thoughts, restlessness, excessive behaviours.

Dissociative Identity Disorder. Symptoms: experiencing more than one personality centre, possible memory losses.

Phobia: A fear of an object or occurrence that is hindering functioning in everyday life and does not seem to be appropriate for the actual risk involved in daily life.

His dad has an tension illness Dori has short term memory Nemo has a deformed fin there are extra that i seen while i became watching this action picture, i only can not keep in mind precise now. woodland Gump: Tom Hanks Processing illness (slow to comprehend) Radio: became he autistic or MR? (or the two) Rain guy Dustin Hoffman Autistic The Doll living house murders---The daughter who sees the dolls reinacting the homicide is mentally handicapped. The Ringer: no longer a great action picture, yet a "widespread" person tries to win the specific olympics, acts as though he has a incapacity. lots of the extras in this action picture rather did have psychological handicaps. (there became a great number of controversy over this action picture) Hand that Rocks that cradle: the girl who became attempting to take over the kinfolk became in all probability schizophrenic and the guy who labored as a "obtainable guy" became mentally handicapped besides. Any action picture affiliated with Stephen KIng characters or any "assassin" ought to be have psychological matters. that's no longer a common reaction to sparkling up any difficulty. something has to snap in someone to do such violent acts.

Bi-polar disorder = traditional 'manic-depression'. fluctuation of high and low emotions. Mania= increased energy, aggression, impulsivity and elation. Depression= sad, low moods; lack of energy and libido..... isolation.

Borderline personality disorder = seeing the world in "black and white" "love/hate" "good/evil". dissociative behavior. self injurious. very impulsive.... little regard for others feelings.

Anorexia nervosa = starving - to strive to be "perfect" in body image, as perceived by the person - in relation to body dysmorphic disorder.

Delusional disorder- beliefs in things either irrational or illogical, which go against any/all "true" facts or beliefs.

Schizo-affective disorder- like schizophrenia, with audio/visual/other hallucinations..... BUT- unlike schizophrenia- you realize they are hallucinations...... not reality.
