If your company punishes you for a medical condition (or seeking/receiving medical treatment), you may sue them. Begin a file in which you keep notes, names and dates of threats or coercion made toward you. You may need those little tidbits of information should you need to take them to court.

The fact that you're diligent in keeping a file on 'your half of the story' may inspire your manager to treat you right.

Unfortunately this is more complicated than it looks. Ask yourself this, is this job just a temp job? Are you only a teen working at a part time job? If you're only 16 and this is only a part time temp job, than don't waste your time suing them. It'd just be more of a pain to sue rather than a benefit. Just apply for another job. It's not worth all your time to sue, it's confusing, expensive, and a big hassle.

If you have been working there for over 7 or 8 years and you know for sure that you never missed a day, you're always on time, and you exercise very good work performance, than that's a different story. Then I'd have to say sue them, especially if you can't find another job now due to the economy and due to the fact that your absense was not your fault and you were excused by a medical professional. Also, use that medical profressional as your expert witness. (but that's taking this all kind of far, which is again, only worth it if this job is your career rather than just a temp job.) Good luck anyway though

there's a asserting that a activity is a priviledge no longer a alluring. some bosses are stable and a few are undesirable. you have a alluring to offer up and discover yet another one. If a chairman says that he will hearth you, in case you do no longer do his laundry and lick the floor, there is not any regulation against that. Now there are regulations agaist age discrimination yet they're no longer likely enforced. They nevertheless desire the 300 and sixty 5 days you graduated intense college and in case you probably did in 1965, then you quite will no longer be able to be youthful. For gettting over strep throat swifter, see website under. while it includes the corporate you artwork for, the owner makes each and every of the regulations. the excellent boss is the federal goveornment. One week you get a holiday day and the subsequent week you get a unwell day. So after 50 weeks you have 25 unwell days and 25 holiday days.

It depends on where you fell and whose fault it is. Obviously, if you fall at work as a result of some unsafe working conditions cause by your employer, then your employer really cannot hold you accountable.

If you fell outside of work and that's causing you to miss work or perform poorly at work, then that's your problem and not your employers.

When did you notify your employer of your injury? The same day you got hurt or the next day??? If it was the same day, was it before your shift started or after?? How long after??
