Police term "BF&D" has to do with breaking in car or stolen items?

Hi, I am listening to tapes and a police officer says "they were the victims of the "BF&D." The situation is there was a broken into car and the suspect was found with stolen items out of the car. The thing is I don't know the term, if it's BF&D, BFMD, or something that sounds familiar. This is LAPD, by the way, if that helps.

Update:

After relistening to the tape, it sounds like VF&D. I think the V stands for vehicle. Can anyone now figure out this acronym? I think it stands for some sort of vehicle burglary code.
