Officials: Obama to reverse abortion policy?

I was hoping he would be too busy for this stuff. Day 3 and it is a priority already......so sad. How far behind do you think the embryonic stem cell research bill is? I am 37 weeks preg, and as a new mom, I am thrilled to pieces with the child within me, and I cant understand how anybody could murder a child in the first place, nomatter how young or small he/she may be. So I am extremely saddened and infuriated by this stupid move. I hate obama anyways- I hated him the moment I found out he was pro-choice. Hes a scumbag, and he needs to get out of office- ASAP- hes already contradicting himself- like when he said abortions should be limited? well- they are not- he is making it so MORE abortions can happen- so these dumb women can go out and kill their babies a heck of a lot easier. Its bull crap. This guy is a horrible excuse for a president- I never thought id miss president bush- but I am so wishing he would come back- at least he was a real christian and TRIED to improve the abortion situation. Obama is just promoting the murder of babies like crazy- in office a couple days, and hes already doing it... No prolife tax payer should have to pay for abortions for some stupid woman in another country. I dont care what her situation is- its wrong to murder. The only way you should abort, is if you will die because of the pregnancy- other than that- there is NO excuse for murdering a child- and people use abortion as a method of birth control, and this lovely angel everyone loves so damn much is only promoting it as such. Sorry if ive offended anyone, but nothing breaks my heart more than the murder or abuse of a child...

I certainly don't have high hopes for the next four years, God willing it will only be four.

This country has been going down a moral sewer for some time now, but I fear it will hit an all-time moral low during Obama's administration.

I am literally sick to my stomach. The shedding of innocent blood is an Obamanation in the site of God. Those who do it and those who say it is ok will soon witness the mighty hand of God's correction. This country, and the whole world, is about to see tribulation like has never been seen in all the history of man. Come Lord Jesus!

This is the third question I've answered about this just this morning and NO ONE. I mean NO ONE has actually know what the hell they were talking about!

For one thing, abortion is legal. Its staying that way and he made no changes to U.S. abortion regulations.

He lifted the global gag order, which prohibits OVERSEAS aid workers from giving condoms or abortions to women who have a life expectancy of 40 due to multiple high-risk pregnancies with insufficient prenatal care and nutrition.

It prevents them from giving an abortion to a 12 year old girl who's clitoris has been mutated to prevent her from enjoying sex, so they she can leave her abusive husband and get an education.

It prevents them from giving abortions or condoms to women who are positive for HIV. Thus, enabling it to spread further in developing countries.

Its an impractical, harmful, self-righteous piece of legislation, developed by comfortable, healthy well-fed Americans who think their religious views are more important than the lives and health of people who live in misery and poverty the likes of which you will never know.

Longhorn. you're a woman, or at least your avator is. Don't you care how your sisters are suffering overseas? Is your moralizing really more important than their lives and futures? Will your self-righteousness give them an education or put food in their bellies?

Public opinion drives many of these policies and your insistence that your own morality be applied to nations you've never even been to is hurting these women. Have some compassion, for the sake of your sisters around the world.

I am disgusted. THAT is one of his first priorities????? With our economy in the state it is in and he has to play partisan politics??? I did have hope for him but now I am so disappointed. His disgusting history on abortion rights votes (voting against legislation supporting providing life support to infants who had survived abortion(murder)) is really starting to show:( Unfortunately he is what I had expected.

Absolutely, This man is going to bring more judgment on this nation then were already experiencing .

more abortions occur during republican administrations then democrats. plus the war in iraq will end. does it matter to you if the lives we save are adult? if you want to stop abortion start adopting babies. when we dont have babies waiting for parents we wont have abortions
