could i still get into state colleges if i apply today?
will i have a good chance of being accepted to state colleges if i apply today and mail them my reccomendations and other things on monday. my gpa is 3.3. i have As and Bs in classes and i play and have letters in two varsity sports. the deadlines are febuary 1st

Most state colleges accept everyone above a 3.0. You can probably apply and still be accepted all you have to do is check if the state college you're applying to is still open for apllications.
I applied to SF a couple weeks ago so don't worry.

Of course! If the deadline is on February 1, you can send the applications in until then. Depending on the state schools you are trying to get into, 3.3 is fine. There are some really competitive state schools that probably wouldn't accept you unless you were a recruit for one of the sports you play, but the average state school should accept you without any problem.

call and ask. I think it takes about three months for them to check your background though so don't be disappointed if they say you're too late. Sometimes the classes are full. Sometimes they are looking for paying customers. Lots of things come into play when you ask application questions so it's a toss up.

Yeah, you could. Most State Colleges set aside spots for those who apply at the last minute, so get on it!

You're too late and your ACT score is too low to get accepted by Michigan State anyway.
