I just dug around a bit. Doesn't sound like it. They are saying he was local and mentally ill.

How many times have we seen names and identities withheld only to later learn this was an act of Jihad. SUV attack at UNC, beltway snipers, Van Gogh's murderer, Utah mall shooter, El AL LAX shooter, etc etc. It is a reasonable question to ask. Shame on the media for hiding such things.
