Who was disappointed with the way John and Marlena left Days?

I thought it was terrible. In fact, I almost asked the same question. It was just lame, lame. They should have taken 2 days and had a day where Marlena and John got to be themselves..etc.....Oh well...

I did find it strange that Stefano was so concerned....

Didn't John get his memory back when he was accidentally poked with the needle that was meant for Marlena from Charlotte? It was so sad how they rushed the whole ending of Marlena and Johns departure, it would have been nice to see John remember so much about his life before he was clueless and for John to get some kind of revenge on Stefano...lol I hope they do come back in the future, I always love Marlena, she is a great actress. I even met her once in real life, many yrs ago. :o)

M/J were major characters who have been done wrong for quite awhile now. I understand they were fired but the fans and they deserved more than to rush them off with a sorry story line and leave everyone unhappy. I feel the fans have been left down and left with a bad feeling toward the writers. I wish M/J well and hope their next project treats them better.

it was EXTREMELY L-A-M-E. I would have liked more flashbacks to music. Those are always nice. They showed a few but not enough and they repeated the few anyway within the week. All that build-up to him forgetting everything and then rush, poof, he remembers. And it's so awkward w/ Roman standing there. Poor guy. He stands there happy b/c his love is happy. But it's just weird. And it also seems lame to say, "Oh there's an expert in Switzerland who specializes in this." Weak!

I completely agree! They shouldn't have gotten rid of them in the first place. Everything was going so fast. They both represent what Days of our Lives is. I hate that it seems like they were trying to rush them off the show. They didn't deserve that at all.

There are lots of things left undone. That's why the spumors are saying that they're coming back.

I totally agree with you. They should have expanded on how it was possible for John to get his memory back without the disc.

I agree totally and now that the two have departed, I have no interest anymore and I have watched for 25 years!

I agree, I was really sad...

They needed to be on for at LEAST a couple more episodes......but I wish they weren't being cut at all.

They'll be back, though. Trust me.
