I accidently dyed my hair black.......?
My hair was a nice light brown, but 6 weeks ago I dyed it strawberry blonde. it did look nice till It was time to dye again but I wanted to go back to my original color. So last night I dyed it brown but it was a medium brown and My hair is now jet black with a red tint. My question is will the darkness fade soon? Because I don't want to dye my hair ever again. If I have to dye it again will it go lighter if I use a lighter brown? Thank You

It wil take a long time to just fade out naturally, but if you can live with it for a few weeks, and let your hair rest it would be best. Than you should see a professional. Do Not try to tint it lighter, as color does not lift color. The best bet would be to have your hair foiled with bleach, very fine foils. Than it will all blend in again, and you wil have a lighter look. But do not try this yourself, as you will have a disaster.And get a good reconstructor,so it will be ready for more color. Good Luck,

It may rinse out some but to get a lighter brown you'll have to use a color stripper and i suggest going to the salon for this.

Before you do ANYTHING else - go to a professional salon! I've tried to color my hair at home & then messed it up bad. When I tried to fix it, I only made it worse. Just skip messing it up & go talk to a professional. It's their job to dye hair, so they will have an idea as to how to fix this oopsy!

Hair dye takes perpetually to come back out of my hair, yet no time at involved by certainly one of my buddies. it must be each time for you. attempt washing your hair with heat to warm water with any shampoo as long as its no longer colour secure.

er it may fade after a few washes but not significantly, you may have to wait for it to grow out
