Does she hate me and what should I do?

Years ago we were very close friends but not intimate - I was also a family friend - i'm sure she fancied me because she flirted alot but I avoided it. Her father died years ago and soon afterwards I began to realise how strongly I felt for her (like no other woman and none since) - I told her in a letter but she never responded and she began to get more depressed about her father - she started being nasty to people and she told me never to come back. She will not talk to me - she gets really angry when she sees me and I was told by a family member she used to cry and scream my name out alot. She has been really rude to me when I've tried to talk to her over the years - What is this all about - Do you think she has feelings for me or hates me?
