Apparently not. Why not? I guess it's the "free will" of those people to starve.

And why would anyone have to pray for this? Doesn't god know these people are starving to death? Why does he need someone to point this out?

When God created the earth and mankind, he put them in a paradise with plenty to eat. Man's rejection of God's right to rule has caused many problems. But God has a provision to not only end world hunger, and all of the things that are the cause of mankind's woes.

If you would like to learn about these, you can request a free home bible study or a "What Does the Bible Really Teach" bible aid. You can use it along with your own copy of the bible.

I will give you a few scriptures to consider in the mean time.

Isaiah 65:21-23 21 And they will certainly build houses and have occupancy; and they will certainly plant vineyards and eat [their] fruitage. 22 They will not build and someone else have occupancy; they will not plant and someone else do the eating. For like the days of a tree will the days of my people be; and the work of their own hands my chosen ones will use to the full. 23 They will not toil for nothing, nor will they bring to birth for disturbance; because they are the offspring made up of the blessed ones of Jehovah, and their descendants with them.

Revelations 21: 4 4 And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”

Do you mean if I prayed right now, at this very moment, would He change it? He might. He might not. I can't predict God's actions.

In a more abstract way of answering this, I'll say that yes, God will end world hunger. One day, Jesus is going to return and Judgment Day will arrive. Will world hunger be over at that point? I think so, although I clearly can't tell you with finality. I also can't say when this will be, as no one knows when Jesus will return.

Many people brought up great points. Christians are supposed to be working to end world hunger. We are supposed to be Jesus' hands and feet.

There are a lot of deep aspects to this question that come right down to the fact that Adam and Eve sinned. It all comes back to the fact that God created a perfect world and sin ruined it. At least, that's what I think it all comes back to.

I sincerely hope and sincerely will pray that your thoughts on Christianity will change. :)

God expects us to do that.

What have you done to end world hunger? Do you give to any charities or donate money to help the needy? There is enough food on this planet of it were distributed correctly.

World hunger - no. But on an individual basis yes.

Exd 22:21 Thou shalt neither vex a stranger, nor oppress him: for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.

Exd 22:22 Ye shall not afflict any widow, or fatherless child.

    Exd 22:23 If thou afflict them in any wise, and they cry at all unto me, I will surely hear their cry;

supply them nutrition particularly of praying. basic! for sure prayers do no longer artwork! tens of millions would pray and all yet one seems to no longer have had his want granted. The Church counts the single that seems to have had her want granted and ignores the tens of millions who got here up empty and died without intercession. Likewise, whilst the media record on organic mess ups, they're prepared on the tale of the survivor who thank you some god and basks interior the honor of the miracle that stored him, yet they on no account print a tale blaming a god for the thousands or thousands of thousands who have been killed interior the earthquake or the tsunami. It does not take place to the survivor or the media that if it became purely situation that introduced approximately the deaths of thousands, it became additionally purely situation that introduced approximately every physique surviving.

If the hungry want to get fed by god they have to walk in a desert for 40 years so god will rain food down on them.

Nick, God has provided the way to end hunger and sickness and death, and all of this does happen in God's time so that you have this time of grace to accept the atonement. Jesus is absolutely the answer to any problems the world has..He defeated sin and death..unfortunately not all have accepted this and this time is a time of grace.

Hunger, famines, are caused by Man's inhumanity to Man, nothing to do with God. If all believed in God and followed His rules there would be no hunger, wars, violence, pain, etc.
