Religious people say, "Mine and only mine!"

Non-religious people say, "None of them!"

I was troubled by this for awhile. Which one? Pick the wrong one and be tormented forever? Pick the right one be in paradise forever. I did alot of thinking and a bit of research. Came to this conclusion. If God created everything, like all the holy books say, and He knows everything, like all the holy books say, then the rest of it seems pretty hard to swallow. He would know all the confusion and hatred generated by all these religions. He would understand our confusion. Maybe it's all a test, I have no idea. I don't think it matters what religion we choose, or even if we choose any religion at all. Just be the best person we can be, the teachings of Jesus are right. The love, peace, understanding that he taught. Those things need no proof, they stand on their own as to being right. To live a happy life and hopefully help others be happy. By loving and helping others all we can. God is more than any man written book can say, just look around at the world, the universe. How can a creator of all we can see, and so much more we can't see, be put in a tiny little book written by people? John, all religions will blast me for this, but just be the best person you can be, trust in a higher power that everything is going to work out right. Don't put faith in any man written book.

P.S. I really don't think it matters to God if anyone even believes in Him either, just try to live a good life and help people when you can, but believing in a higher power and having hope that there is something above us and more than us, can make one feel a bit better sometimes, because to be honest, if we are on our own, I think we're in alot of trouble.

That kind of proof has already been done. The only problem and still is is will you believe that proof or not?

The thing is that the true religion teaches us about the true God. Not just now but has always done so since well, since the first two human beings appeared on earth who were male and female. I mean to me if the true God showed himself to them and they taught their children. And later on their children had a relationship with God.

And the true God had them write these words that have been on earth for thousands of years. And were never changed. So that men in that day and in our day could hear the same news. And have the true knowledge of God in their lives to live their religion. Than that would be the true one.

And the true religion could be taught in many ways. But it can have one true people and nation. And God through his words can know the future and prophesy about showing his love another way for man. So that from that time it would not have to be for one nation. But for all the people of the world.

This is not proof. But for me I think the true religion would be like this. If the followers of that true religion do not live up to the teachings and Spirit of their faith. That is not the fault of the religon or it's God. That is the fault of man who choose to follow their own way and disobey the Spirit of truth that only exists in the true religion.

The true religion says that God knocks on the door of each heart seeking those who will let him in.

No this is not proof. But it is a teaching of the true religion.

There is no "right" religion. You cant choose the "right" one cause you cant say any is 100% the right path. The only path that is the "right" path is the path you choose. Whether it is to make your own philosophy (like myself) or to follow the others many have fallen under for the comfort and support they need.

One that promotes humanity. One that promotes respect towards others, not hate and separation. One that focuses on spiritual needs through peace. One that is impartial.

Ultimately religion and the way you practice it is up to you. Make your religion, follow your own spirit.

Choose none of them. That's the only one that makes sense. Maybe pagan for the cool parties and nudity.

Would they still be saying "I am right" if they did not get something out of it? How much money do religious institutions collect and what happens with all that money?

    Hi, John B:

The Bible tells you that God's "remnant" will keep the commandments of God and Satan hates that church.

You might find those characteristics hidden in the Bible code because few people actually keep God's 10 commandments: http://abiblecode.com/

Shalom, peace in Jesus, Ben Yeshua

Source(s): Revelation 12:17 "And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ."
