Why do men always tell me I'd make a good wife one day?

It could be a friends father, a co-worker, a boss...always a man..but honestly what does that mean?

There's obviously something about you that they perceive as good qualities in a wife. Supportive, encouraging, good natured, kind hearted, self confident, smart, sensible, respectful; all good qualities in a wife.

I'm assuming it's not physical attributes and such since the comments are coming from friends fathers, etc. Next time a man says that ask them what they mean. I doubt they'll be offended.

Maybe they see a nurturing type of person who is patient and who likes to help others by listening to their woes and offering good advice. Someone who is always there for them.

All the men you list are men who likely have no business seeing you romantically. And it is meant as a compliment. Take it as such.

it means that they think you will marry a guy and make him really happy to be with you one day. What did you think it meant?
