Updates for AMD Athlon(TM) 64 Processor 3000+ Chipset?

Is there a software out which i can install on my pc to see what kind of chipset i have installed and to get updates, i went into device manager and selected processors and it gave me the processor info which is AMD Athlon(TM) 64 Processor 3000+, i tried the AMD website but had nothing with that description on there, any help people?

    Run it, go to the "Main Board" tab, a Chipset is on the motherboard, not the processor.

    In the "Main Board" tab you'll see what chipset you have listed there.

    Any update will be from your motherboard manufacturer, not AMD.

    Have a look at the motherbooard and do a web search on any identification marks you can see.
