MLB Predictions (agree or disagree)?

AL East:

1) Yankees

2) Red Sox -WILD CARD

3) Rays

4) Jays

5) Orioles

AL Central

1) White Sox

2) Twins

3) Tigers

4) Indians

5) Royals

(really hard to predict if you ask me)

AL West:

1) Angels

2) Athletics

3) Rangers

4) Mariners

NL Central:

1) Cubs

2) Brewers

3) Cards

4) Astros

5) Reds

6) Pirates

NL East:

1) Phillies

2) Mets - WILD CARD

3) Marlins

4) Braves

5) Nationals

NL West:

1) If they get Manny, then Dodgers. If not, then D-Backs.

2) See above

3) Rockies

4) Giants

5) Padres

ALDS- Yanks over White Sox in 5, Red Sox over Angels in 5

NLDS- Cubs over Mets in 6, Phillies over Dodgers in 5

ALCS- Red Sox over Yanks in 6

NLCS- Phillies over Cubs in 7

WS- Red Sox over Phillies in 6

Update:

Just to tell you guys, I'm not a Yankee lover AT ALL. I'm a die-hard Sox fan.

Personally I think the Yanks are going to get into the playoffs, only for CC and Burnett to break down at the end of the season and to lose to the Sox, who will surge with Smoltz and Saito.

AL East: No. I disagree. I don't thin the Yankees will get 1st. I think they will end up in 2nd. The Rays aren't the same this year. The Red Sox will end up in 1st.

AL Central: When you say you're a die-hard Sox fan, you must mean White Sox. There is no way that they will get first. They will have only lost players. They have gotten worse. They will place 4th. The Tigers will be better than last year but get 3rd place. The Indians have fixed their problems and will fight for 1st with the Twins. The wild card winner will come from here. Have to agree with you, hard to predict.

AL West: If the Rangers get Ben Sheets, they will be 2nd above the A's. Otherwise, nailed it.

NL Central: It seems to me that the teams in this division were all major losers this offseason. Got it right there.

NL East: Switch the Phillies and the Mets. The Mets will be the team they should be (if you know what I mean) this year. I'm not sure about the Marlins and Braves. We'll see what the Braves do the rest of the offseason. Wild card will come from here.

NL West: I think that the Dodgers can do it without Manny, but he would definetly help.

ALDS: Don't think the Yanks or White Sox will make it. Red Sox would win over the Angels in 4.

NLDS: Mets over Cubs in 7. That is, if the Mets play how they should play. Phillies over Dodgers in 5, Yeah I agree.

ALCS: Don't think the Yanks will make it to the playoffs.

NLCS: Mets will smoke the Phillies. And again I say, if they play their potential.

WS: Boston would win if it was Sox/Mets (see above) in 5.

  • I agree even though it's too early to tell, the AL east seems like any team is a risky pick, since it's hard to tell how better a team is than the others, but needless to say the top three teams in the AL east will be 90 plus win teams.

I am not so sure about the Yankees. Yankees might( and a big MIGHT) make it to the playoffs, and if they do they most likely will choke in the division series. CC, AJ and Tex + other Yankee players does not equal definite World Series Champions. But everything else looks feasible.

  • 1 decade ago

The Phills are gonna sink-Hamels should've kept his mouth shut. The mets will win there division. The yankees will be the wild card maybe.CC will not stay healthy ..Tampa looks damn good on paper.Watch out for the A's this year they'll win there division. Manny will be a Giant so Hello D-backs I disagree The METS will be in th series against the BO-Sox and they'll lose in 7

I think the Cardinals will win the NL Central

And I think the A's will win the AL West

I'm hoping the White Sox can win it all, but that's because that's my favorite team.
