Kilkenny Castle, Co. Kilkenny: oldest parts date from 1100s, most of it dates from the 1600s

Leap Castle, Co. Offaly: built 1250

Blarney Castle, Co. Cork: originally built 1200, rebuilt 1400s

Charleville Castle, Co. Offaly: late 1700s.

None of the above are in Dublin. I'm not sure what the oldest castle in Dublin is. Here's a list of castles in Ireland: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Castles_in_Ireland

    and in Dublin: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Castles_in_Ireland#Co...

Its probably Dublin Castle, Of dame street. I think founded around 1200. But I could be wrong.
