For those of you who are married or were married for a long time...?

share some wisdom with me....does love dissapear after a certain time...or does it turn into just "i care for you" instead of " i love you too" and can it be restored...how can you fall back in love with your own husband/wife when hes/shes not even aware that you've fallen out of love? Thanks....just curious...cause sometimes i dont even know what im feeling...just loneliness i guess..thanks.

It doesn't disappear, it just changes. This is the time where you have to remember to work really hard on your marriage and remember what made you fall in love to begin with. Marriage is way more than sex and chemistry; long after those feelings cool off you have to stay connected in other ways that are just as important. Show genuine interest in daily happenings. Praise strengths in your partner, offer encouragement when you see weaknesses. After a while, life with your special someone may seem a little "hum drum", but it doesn't mean you've fallen out of love. It's just more of a "falling into the pattern of life" love. I hope this makes you feel better and answers your question.

Its not like it ever disappears. Love grows and changes just like the people that have the feelings for each other. Remember the first time you was in love ?? It was brand new and wonderful. You never love someone quite that way again. The reason is that love like anything else, changes over time. Its just as good as it was back when, just different. Hope I made sense and that I helped.....

  • remember why you fell in love to begin with. find thoes butterflies again. Put a spark back in your relationship by getting a makeover, buy a new outfit and handle your business. Good luck

love needs attention... if you don't protect it and care for it it will die.
