i live in southern CA and i have seen so many hollyhocks blooming right now..i wanted to know when i should plant the seeds so i can have those beautiful flowers in my backyard! im a novice at this! thanks!

so i just found out my brother got married in vegas with this girl he met a couple of months ago. I personally dont like her or care for her, its my brothers life however i once told him that i cared and only wanted the best for him...first of all, shes older than him...second..she doesnt really have a job and im pretty sure she married him to be accomodated by him.... Now im just wondering how I can be tolerable with her in case we ever cross ways such at family gatherings and such.... If i ignore her i know my brother will be bothered...he does however know that i dont like her... she doesnt like me either and since the beginning made no efforts to be liked....(hence my dislike of her) ....i truly feel shes superficial and interested...but he doesnt see that. So how do i deal with it? anybody in the same situation?

is it safe to go through the full body scan if you re pregnant? i am afraid of the radiation affecting the bb...

I was diagnosed with an IC 4 years ago when i lost my son at 21 weeks. It has been a long road to recovery and yesterday I found out I am pregnant. For many women it is a time of great expectations, of happiness, of joy, but for people like me It is a time of uncertainty, of fear because I dont know how well this is going to end. I want to be happy but I cant. Has anyone gone through a normal pregnancy (if u have an incompetent cervix) and did you have to get a cerclage? Thanks for sharing your story with me.

im about to try a new veggie....the red beet....im kinda afraid because i've never really liked vegetables and im slowly incorporating them in my new diet....i ate beet once when i was little and i was so disgusted and never tried it again! This year is a different story...i want to eat healthier...so i wanna know if it;s better to eat it raw or cooked? i noticed it bleeds so much and im not sure if the stains can become permanent....ok..so its a boring question but i had to ask it....LOL

share some wisdom with me....does love dissapear after a certain time...or does it turn into just "i care for you" instead of " i love you too" and can it be restored...how can you fall back in love with your own husband/wife when hes/shes not even aware that you've fallen out of love? OK, im worried. One of my friends moved away and she couldnt take her female chihuahua with her. As a friend, I offered to care for the little thing and save her from having to go to the shelter. I like animals, and i do have dogs but BIG dogs a husky and a german shepard. I ve never had a female dog and i wouldnt be able to tell the signs of pregnancy in her. I have noticed her nipples are hard and darker and her (whatever it's called) is swollen. I called my friend and ask her if she had seen her dog acting strange or the like she said "no" now Im not sure if shes been around male dogs or not or if this means shes in heat or pregnant. Please help. Im already saving money to take her to the vet and have her spayed inmediately i just dont have enough money right now and I cant have more dogs. Thanks in advance.

we just finished texturing our ceiling (orange peel) but now that it has been primed/painted on some parts in the living room have long fine cracks...i want to know how i can conceal them without damaging the texture or having to scrape and re-do the area. Thank you.

i just moved to a new house and would like to add some color to my kitchen and dining room.....i want to coordinate colors with the living room which is painted a nice blue with white trim...i just dont want to have disruptive colors i want something that makes a smooth transition from living room to dining room to kitchen... or how can i do this? is there a website that lets you upload your own picture and add colors to it??? i have seen a lot of kitchens painted mostly yellow and colors like that but i want something different...i have honey colored oak cabinets and mostly black appliances. Any suggestions? thank you.

OK. Im trying to purchase a home, i'm scared and VERY CONFUSED!! i have been pre-approved for a loan and have looked at several houses. I have placed offers on three homes but nothing has happened. This is the deal: I have an realtor (who is suppossedly representing me) and I feel that she's not doing her job, I feel that she wants to sell the houses she likes not the houses im interested in. Now my question is I want to change agent and cancel her out...however, I have given her the 1000 deposit which she said was going into "escrow" ...if i cancel and decide to look with someone else will i lose that money??? Please help with any advise...i really dont want to be screwed over....I feel sooooo ignorant...and really frustrated because i've read soo much information on first time home buying tips etc etc ...and it's just not clear to me...Thanks.

My metabolism has always being sloooooooowwww....I exercise and eat small portions and do all the healthy stuff....but I still have a hard time losing weight....It takes me 3 months to drop 5 pounds doing it the right way....My thyroid is good and i think its just genetics...my family has a history of obesity....and i'm cursed with that....what can I do to improve my weight loss? (I'm not grotesquely overweight like you're imagining...i'm about 20 pounds overweight---...) help!
