You are reading it the wrong way. It is not meaning that. Read it again you have to read the verse above it.

And certain of them which were with us went to the sepulchre, and found it even so as the women had said: but him they saw not.

Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken:

We are to believe every single thing written in the Word of God. Whether it is what the prophets wrote in the Old Testement or what the apostles wrote in the New Testement we are to believe each and everything written.

Jesus was calling them fools because they did not believe what the prophets had spoke and written concerning Him.

There are some things which people should look at. That verse is one of them.
