Because dresses have to fit a certain way and they are all made different so they have to be tried on to make sure each style fits right.

Jeans, you try one on and all the rest fit the same way so no need to try on any more of them.

Besides, most of us ladies have more curves to deal with.

Because their is so many dresses out their and most jeans look the same except for the wash or whatever.

Jeans are easy. Dresses have different colors, pleats, sizes, etc. Jeans for a man? Find favorite brand, pick size & go.

do you always buy the same kind of jeans so you know what you like? a dress has a significance or usually an occasion to go with it, its a harder decision

It has to be perfect. Dresses are nothing like jeans.

Woman have to shop around for the best price and try on to see if they fit in all the right places.

    I'm the opposite.

I don't wear dresses, only when forced down aisle as cousin's bridesmaid.

I'm not a big shopper anyway.

I spend most of my 'shopping' time in HMV...Not to mention most of my money !

because some of us actually like to try on the dresses and see which one looks the best.
