Is cooking on a hot plate allowed in Disney hotel rooms?
If I brought a single hot plate with me to a Disney resort hotel room to cook simple one pot meals (soup, oatmeal, etc) would I get kicked out?

Technically, no you're not allowed to have one. You're also not allowed to have stuff like toasters, kettles, etc...Anything that could be a fire hazard.
I've yet to hear of anyone being kicked out because they had one in their room (the maids tend to turn a blind eye). That being said, do you really want to chance it and ruin your vacation?

No, they do not allow this for safety reasons.
Yes you would get kicked out.
Some of the resorts have microwaves in the eating areas for guests to use.

You are not allowed to have it. If they don't catch you, fine. But you would have to hide it from housekeeping. Much safer to just not do it.
