Who has made the greatest sacrifice for their followers? Jesus or Kenneth Copeland?

(If you don't believe the Bible is literally true, consider this a hypothetical question.)

Jesus is said to be the son of God who lived as a mortal, was tortured, died, spent 3 days in hell, and then rose from the dead to save everyone who believed in him from eternity in hell. Great. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord.

Now, we also have the TV evangelist Kenneth Copeland who has become extraordinarily rich off of the donations of his followers. According to the Bible, "It is easier for a camel to squeeze through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to get into the kingdom of God" (Mark 10:25).

Since Kenneth Copeland has selflessly volunteered for an eternity in hell by acquiring the wealth of his followers who in turn are more likely to be allowed into heaven since they are poor, should that be considered a greater sacrifice than Jesus made by spending only 3 days there?

And if a mere mortal like Kenneth Copeland will deliberately volunteer for an eternity in hell to save his followers from the same fate, then how would Jesus making a lesser sacrifice prove that he is divine?

You make good sense here. I hate to see what Christians will say.

Wealth is not a sin.As long as Kenneth Copeland uses some of that money to give to the poor and to help the needy, he is not doing wrong. But I doubt any TV evangelist is a true Christian and many are leading hundreds to hell, not like Jesus who was the ultimate sacrifice and leads to heaven.Following anyone instead of Jesus is idolatry.

My family individuals and that i are all wealthy. no longer inevitably because of fact of something Bro. Copeland has completed, yet because of fact he taught us the certainty of God's word. Kenneth Copeland Ministries is one in all an relatively few that I have confidence. My father and mom and sisters do no longer flow to his church anymore, yet they nevertheless have self assurance in his messages and watch his telecasts. that's in basic terms too far of a stress for me to flow there each week, yet I watch him online, especially the Believer's Conventions. i like going to those, yet I had to pass over it this year. I chop up my tithes between 2 ministries. One is KCM. the different is Jesse Duplantis Ministries, one in all KCM's companions. usually while placing aside my tithe, I around up, so it finally ends up being extra suitable than 10%. My earnings has tripled because of fact first coming back to the certainty of God in 2004.

I think Jesus made the greater sacrifice. With "Jesus", many have been able to commit perverse atrocities in his name. Catholic priests molest little boys in the name of Jesus. And so many killers/soldiers killed innocent women and children in the name of "Jesus", so I believe Jesus made the greatest sacrifice, to which any Christian will attest.

    Source(s): Common sense.

your question really holds no logic are you saying a man who is asking his followers to give him money is the same as jesus dying for our sins.

Jesus is my shepherd and i only flock to his voice, man is but a stranger and i will not listen as he is not my shepherd. That counts for all pastors, ministers and leaders of the church. If he does not show any sign of knowing god then he is a stranger only trying to lead us astray and i will not follow.

Many men with corrupt hearts have come into churches playing the role of the shepherd but do not love or believe in a god. why well that is easy to comprehend if your enemy is god and you want to separate his flock would you not try to confuse the church or the minds of man. there is strife between religions some have gone astray some have gone right off the deep end, the devil is winning and has brought so many followers of christ chasing sins like they are god. but that is not our role we should love our neighbors and not condemn them.

for a start more people follow Jesus than him.and Jesus sacrificed his life for mankind so that we all get a chance of eternal life. No contest.
