Anyone have recipes that don't need onions in them?
My family and I are pretty bored with what we cook, and my husband is allergic to onions, so does anyone know any recipes (breakfast, lunch and dinner accepted) that don't include onions?

Yes! I have two favorites that I make all the time and they really impress your guests as well! You guys will love these, they don't cost too much and are super easy to make!
::Baked (not fried!) Chicken Parmesan::
(This easy baked version cuts out a lot of the unnecessary fat that traditional fried Chicken Parmesan is famous for - yet still leaving all the flavor and yumminess! It's another popular meal among our friends & family..)
4-6 Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts
3 Lg Eggs
1-1 1/2 Cups Italian Breadcrumbs
1/4 cup Flour
1 Lg. 16oz Bag Sargento's (Chef Style) shredded Mozzarella Cheese
1 Large Jar Spaghetti sauce (Ragu Traditional)
Grated Parmesan Cheese
Large baking dish
Spray Oil
Spaghetti or Favorite pasta
Preheat oven to 350.
Beat eggs in medium bowl. Place breadcrumbs in separate medium bowl. Also place flour in separate medium bowl. Lightly dip each chicken breast into flour, then place in egg mixture, followed by the breadcrumbs, covering both sides generously. Spray bottom of baking dish with oil.
Place the (4-6) chicken breasts in baking dish and cook (uncovered) for 40 minutes.
Remove from oven. Pour sauce over each chicken breast (approx 1/3 cup each) Sprinkle Parmesan cheese generously over each piece. Finally, sprinkle with mozzarella cheese. Approx 1/8 of bag should be remaining. (You can use the entire bag, if you like it VERY cheesy!)
Return to over, cook for 20 minutes until cheese is melted & golden brown.
Serve as is or over pasta!

:: Spicy Garlic Lime Chicken ::
( This is one recipe I hand out the most to company we have over for dinner - It has many different spices, but most of them you should already have in your kitchen. Note: You can always double the seasoning mixture (optional) if you like your chicken having a lot of extra flavor!)
4 Boneless, skinless chicken breasts (fresh or thawed, cut length-wise down the middle)
3/4 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp Black Pepper
1/4 tsp. Cayenne Pepper (ground red pepper)
1/8 tsp Paprika
1/4 tsp. Garlic Powder
1/8 tsp Onion Powder
1/4 tsp. Dried Thyme
1/4 tsp Dried Parsley
1 Tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil
2 Tablespoons Whipped butter (Whipped butter has less fat than regular butter, (50% less or more) but you can use whatever you have on hand!)
3 Tablespoons Lime Juice (approx 2 large limes)
2 tsp. Garlic Powder
In a small bowl, mix together; salt, black pepper, cayenne, paprika, 1/4 tsp garlic powder, onion powder, thyme and parsley.
Sprinkle mixture generously on both sides of chicken breast. Heat butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Saute chicken until golden brown, about 5-6 minutes on each side. Finally, sprinkle 2 teaspoons garlic powder and 3 tablespoons lime juice over chicken. Cook an additional 4-5 minutes stirring frequently to coat evenly with sauce.
Serving suggestions: Can be served over any flavored rice (Broccoli cheddar in the packet is a great one!) white, or brown.

I'll give you the recipe to our favorite breakfast. We call it Hillbilly Breakfast!
1 pound sausage
1 pound bacon
10 eggs
2 tablespoons milk or water
southern style hash browns
flour tortillas
favorite cheese
Brown the sausage and bacon in separate pans and set aside. Take 5 -6 tablespoons of bacon grease (or canola oil if you want it healthier) and heat in a large skillet, over medium heat, add the hash browns and cook until the edges start to get crispy but are not yet hard. Tear up 4-5 tortillas and throw them in with the hash browns for a few minutes. Add the cooked sausage and crumble up the bacon while you add it to the pan. Mix the eggs and milk, or water, with a fork until well mixed, you can season with salt and pepper if you wish. Try to pile up the meat mixture to create an open space in the pan and cook the eggs. slowly mix the eggs in with everything else, and cook until it is at its desired consistency. Top with cheese. Use the rest of the tortillas to make breakfast burritos. Or you can eat it on a plate with some toast on the side.
Sometimes instead of using torn pieces of tortilla we will throw in bite sized pieces of bread.

There are thousands of recipes that don't include onions; you may need to narrow it down quite a bit.
My suggestion would be to browse AllRecipes.com or FoodNetwork.com for ideas. Instead of trying to search specifically for recipes without onions, try just browsing and picking something that looks interesting. If it has onions, move along.
Is your husband allergic to shallots? They are a small, onion-like vegetable but with a much milder flavor. They are becoming very popular, and you may even be able to use shallot as an onion substitute.

You can make omelets.
I tried spinache omelets, their good.
Its easy, simple, and doesnt require much.
Ingredients: Eggs, Spinache, Cream Cheese
How: i dont know how to describe this. You do the same thing you do with other omelets. You can either cook the spinache in the pan and pour the eggs on top of that or you can cook it separately, pour the eggs on another pan, then the spinache in the middle.(this way works if you want to fold the omelet in half. Also, dont forget to cut slices of cream cheese and place them inside (if folded), or on top.
Hope this works.
If you're afraid it wont taste good make a small amount to just try it out whenever you have time. I think is delicious.
This is the only way i would eat spinache by the way.
