    Arizona

At this point I have to say Stephen Drew

    Atlanta

    Chipper Jones hands down

    Baltimore

At this point, I have to go with Nick Markakis, though that may change when Matt Weiters comes up.

    Boston

Kevin Youkilis with a close second of Pedroia

    Chicago Cubs

This one is pretty hard but I am going to go with Soriano.

    Chicago White Sox

I am going with Dye for now but if Carlos Quentin can duplicate his success then him definately.

    Cincinnati

Joey Votto leading a weak field.

    Cleveland

    Grady Sizemore hands down.

    Colorado

Going with Barad Hawpe since Todd Helton appears to be on a downhill.

    Detroit

Magglio Ordonez over Miggy since Miggy's OBP dropped quite a bit this year.

    Florida

    Hanley Ramirez, no question

    Houston

    Lance Berkman, no question

    Kansas City

I actually have no idea, lets go with Mike Aviles

    Los Angeles Angels

    Vlad, no question

    Los Angeles Dodgers

Assuming no Manny, then Andre Etheir

    Milwaukee

    Ryan Braun, no question

    Minnesota

Joe Mauer, with Morneau coming in a close second

    New York Mets

    David Wright for being consistant.

    New York Yankees

    Tex, over the declining A-Rod

    Oakland

    Matt Holiday, no question

    Philadelphia

Going with Utley for the whole package over the 1 dimensional game of Ryan Howard.

    Pittsburgh

Not a clue, lets go with Nate McLouth though this years hr numbers might be a fluke.

    St. Louis

    Pujols, no question

    San Diego

    Adrian Gonzalez, no question

    San Francisco

Aaron Rowand, over no one else really.

    Seattle

    Ichiro over Beltre

    Tampa Bay

Evan Longoria over a close B. J. Upton

    Toronto

Vernon Wells when he is healthy, otherwise Alex Rios

    Texas

Josh Hamilton over a close second of Kinsler

    Washington

    Zimmerman, no question

Uh, I thought this was why the AL, the "inferior league" at the time, adopted the silliest rule of all time! The "DH". The NL at the time had wholeheartedly embraced black players and the NL was cleaning the AL's clock. It isn't the DH rule that now makes the AL superior, but absolutely great management and scouting. They (the AL) could, but won't, scrap the DH rule tomorrow and they would still dominate the present NL for a long time to come. Better players equal success.

I'm not going to list every team. I'll say my favorite hitter is Nate McLouth for the Pittsburgh Pirates. He always seems to make plays for a team that doesn't get a lot of hits.

  • 1 decade ago

    Indians- Grady Sizemore

    Angels- Vlad

    Cardinals- Albert Pujols

Those are my 3 favorite teams and 3 of my favorite players.
