belly button piercing?
ohkaay, well for my 16th birthday my mom said i can get my belly button pierced. i am kinda scared because i went on youtube and watched people getting it done and it looks like it hurts.
my question is, does it actually hurt? and how long does it take to heal?
please help ! my birthday is in 25 days !

I'd say it hurts less than getting your ears done.
They say it takes around 6 weeks to heal which mine did.
When it was first done for the first couple of days mine hurt when i sat down or bent over and on the first night it bled but now I don't even notice its there.
It just feels like a little pinch, the clamping hurts more than the actual piercing.

Well I personally do not have one, but all piercing are going to hurt for a minuet or two. It will hurt but I have tons of friends that have them and it doesn't hurt for very long. How long it takes to heal is depending on how clean you keep it, if you clean it often so bacteria doesn't get in there and not infections spread I think maybe about a week or so to heal. But if you are careless you will have some problems with it.

It hurts after you get it all done, but not to bad. It's kinda hard to sit up and stuff but nothing major. It will take prolly 6 weeks to heal and you have to rub iodine on it for the 6 weeks 2 times a day.

I think if you actually ask people they will tell you it does hurt but for literally like a second!!
And healing time is different for everyone! some people it heals in 6-8 weeks and others it can take months.
Mine took a year to heal as I have highly sensitive skin!
Enjoy it! and make sure you keep it clean and avoid clothes rubbing on it.

Honestly, it doesnt hurt really, its a pinch as the needle goes through and thats it. I also have my tongue pierced, that hurt afterwards, but only for like 2 days, and i also have a nipple pierced, and that one hurt as the needle went through AND afterwards, out of all my piercings the nipple definetely hurt the most, belly button the least!

I would just do it. Don't focus on the pain, it will go away fast. Give it the time to heal and you will be fine.Then go get more! Have fun!

dont do it, so out of fashion.
it wont hurt if you do exactly what your told. the worst thing to do is flinch. flinching means your scared and you dont want to do it.
take your fear into consideration.
